As an Xbox player, Klei releases these betas onto Pc first to find and fix as many bugs as possible with the update before they release it onto the main branch on consoles (which can’t be updated as often as PC version can be due to certification processes) I sincerely mean nothing mean when I say this: But for My sake I hope Klei releases the beta on PC in as broken of a state as possible so you guys can experience all the crashing and bugs and get those (mostly) ironed out for us console players by the time the update leaves beta testing.

However… I should also mention that Return of them Turn of Tides remained in beta for a FULL YEAR on PC before releasing to Xbox and it still had its own share of bugs that despite all the beta testing, still needed fixing.

So… in conclusion, rather the build your testing in beta is stable or not, a “Beta” is to find and fix bugs before going live, unfortunately.. sometimes those bugs don’t get found till after beta has ended.
