Even after increasing it's durability to 200, it's still more efficient to craft dark swords. A dark sword costs 1 living log and has 100 uses, a thulecite club costs 3 living logs and has 200 uses, and while you could argue that it costs 1 less nm fuel, not only is nm fuel very easy to farm, but it also costs thulecite, a resource better spent on crowns/suits/amulets. The shadow tentacles dont help the club's case either, since they're immobile and highly inconsistent. While the speed boost the club provides is nice, it's not hard to item swap to a walking cane/lazy explorer. Increasing the durability or reducing the living log cost would mean it's as living log efficient as the dark sword, since the living log is the most valuable item in both of these weapon's recipes.

Thulecite Suit ans thulecite crown was the first "full armor" in game, then maybe they should get bonus set. With full armor thulecite club could have more durability or deal 68 damage. Bonus here should be rather strong because nightmare fuel (for dark sword and night armor) is still easier to farm than plastic.

The issue with thule club is not the cost.

It is the unavailability to craft from your ass.

exactly, nobody is arguing that fuel and logs are hard to get lol. The problem is you have to go out of your way to craft it and it's not even better than the alternatives which you can craft on the fly, so it becomes obsolete.

Reading the OP gave me a different impression.

And OP doesn't even mention that he instead mentions the living logs cost and how living logs are the most valuable ingridient on both Dark Sword and Thulecite Club. Perhaps both of you should read the OP next time.

if 1 living log lined up to 100 durability then it'd be satisfying

So when can we have weapon with 2000 use x 68 damage using a stack of living log?
Using same logic, Krampus sack require kill 100 krampus on average should have like 4000 inventory slots because they are 200 times harder to acquire than backpack.

It ok for early/mid game gears to scale with their craft ingredients, but those scale should be tune down for later game gears.

Dark sword is a better weapon for day to day basic fights.

Thulecite club is far better for boss fights especially fights with slow moving bosses like toadstool, crab king, ancient fuelweaver, stunned nightmare pig, stunned ancient guardian, antlion.

Also if you play on console (especially the nintendo switch) you cant easily switch between walking cane and dark sword. So the 10% speed boost is really useful for console players for bosses like tier 3 shadow rook.

I think the thulecite club is strong enough atm.

I re-read the OP. My assessment is the same, my response is the same.

What I would have added also was "The poll could have had more options, like make it prototypable, increase damage, or increase speed" to get a better sense of what people think about the club

And it has nothing to do with what OP was talking about nor with what i was replying to.

So maybe idk instead just reading try actually understanding what you are reading before you quote-reply someone with a "gotcha" response?

I really do feel like it being 375 uses would make it pretty nice. The obsidian spear from SW had exactly as many uses, and it’s a big part why it’s the only station bound weapon I would use without a second thought. Being able to carry 1-2 clubs for a majority of cases would be a really nice boon (especially since you can already do this with dark swords being able to carry up to 9 at once assuming a full stack of fuel + 8 living logs).
