What music do you listen to while playing?

but silence during dusk and night is a bit too boring.

There is a mod called dusk and night music, it's awsome. Really captures the original tracks, and comes with a setting to play music contiously meaning it will play always, not only when you do work, though from time to time it feels anoying, because there are no times with silence.

Also workshop is full of music mods, id there is a geme that has quite a lot of tracks, chances are that there is a mod that adds these tracks to the game. I myself am switching back and forth between dusk and night music, and Omori soundtrack mod.

Sometimes pirate raid music bugs and keeps playing long after raid itself is defeated. I once had practically no choice but to listen this for entire in-game season because it was summer and I didn't want to risk my boat upon relogging (wildfire can start before player gains control over character, so potentially one can log-in on already burning boat). I also sailed around monkey island specifically to clear accursed trinkets (before that bug was fixed), so no refuge from Waterlogged could be taken since I wanted to be done with it as soon as possible. That also was public server and I couldn't really time relog to the night.

So imagine listening pirate soundtrack for like 1.5 hours. I think I can understand how Maxwell felt on the trone with endless ragtime playing nearby.

As for the topic, I'm satisfied with current soundtreck frequency since I often attack stuff and trigger fight music or spend my days in the caves and can trigger work music any time. Silence is also appreciated by me, especially after I do some work/fighting for a long time non-stop.

Back when I was really getting into the game, Ive used to listen to this band. And because I didn't had any friends to play with, it made expirience more... suitable for my liking? Post Rock doesn't really fit Don't Starves style, but darn - exploring and understanding Constant with these tunes was one of the better memories i have of 2019.

Buuut yeah, usually i prefer listening to songs without any vocals - both it allows me to focus on the game and get in the right mood..
