Really disappointed that TEiN wasn't changed at all, I'm definitely going to ask about it in the next dev stream tomorrow. Like wigfrid, wicker didn't need a massive overhaul like some other reworks. Just a few new books, a way to regen them. Boom perfect tight rework. Like, why does fire falsetto still exist, what is the purpose of the fiery pen, why are we here? Just to suffer? Luckily, there's always a chance for a few adjustments in the future. Since the rework introduced forced summoning of Shadow Creatures I am actually interested plus her books seem more practical for my playstyle which I am excited to try out. If your good enough at the game- forced spawning of Shadow Creatures is just a free way to farm Nightmare Fuel. So even THAT Downside- has an Upside. There's a bit of cynicality and passive aggressivesness on the beta forum but I think people have still been fairly level headed and communicating their ideas well. There's a lot of perspectives to take in, I'm sure Klei's considering a lot more than we see behind the scenes. The only thing I felt was off about it was the weird stat allocation at the end and the slurper pelt requirement, but that was more of a console problem. That particular module requires you to reset fuel weaver at some point. Ofc i prefer the current noob-friendly mighty 24/7 wolfgang but he was always good. Alot of forumites just want every rework to make the character ridiculously op... Wickerbottom is very viable again, her crop farming is back to being the best, atleast for growing random seeds at the start to get the necessary crop-specific seeds for wormwood to take over. Lunar and rain book give her unique control over the world. Wicker isn't the most fun character to play and the rework was never gonna change that, but she is practical and useful and now most definitely the backbone of any teamplay. Personally I see Wickerbottom as just the best farmer period giant crops are more for vanity than anything else in my opinion and with her farming book she makes more than enough on demand crops to feed a server which can be stored in a salt box for a stockpile.
