It was fun and i wonder if it could be a good thing if he was avalable in the start menu, after you unlock him once. What do you think ? Mike23Ua Posted July 23, 2022 Share Posted July 23, 2022 Yes, but only if the player has unlocked them first, also.. it would mean Klei would need to bring back Wonkeys “Ghost form” and when revived they don’t revert back to uncursed. It sounds like a lot of work, so it might not happen. HEAVYDIRTYSOUL Posted July 23, 2022 Share Posted July 23, 2022 i personally want to be able to choose them from the beginning without using console commands lol cus i love them to bits and he will always be a sweet monkey boi in my heart but i don't think klei sees them as something more than just a curse, plus writing quotes for them would probably be a hassle... 'Wonkey' isn't any singular entity, they can be any character, but transformed into a monkey. The game uses they/them, as there can be ambiguity to what character Wonkey originally was. Sounds easy enough… but really what I want is for Wonkey to be able to do the Starvers Carol Emote and it be done like OOO, oo , ooo, Ah, OO, oooo, O, Ah, OO. I want Monkey Starvers Carol! Oh no, I did not mean to make you apologetic. I personally don't care all that much. And it's a understandable mistake. Despite Wonkey being the form they are displayed in the main menu like their own character which can come off very confusing, it took me a little bit to fully understand it. About the main topic, yeah! It seems like a neat idea, I'm all for more options. I'd like if it was an option when making your character, like you choose Wilson, and maybe beside the option for head skins you can choose an option for curses after you get the curse, have it for a while and then cure it. Almost identical to Wilbur except the quadrupedal sprint doesn’t cost more hunger and he can’t befriend monkeys. Dr. Safety Posted July 24, 2022 Share Posted July 24, 2022 I think if this were ever to be implemented, it would be in the form of that one suggestion when the Moon Quay update dropped. I forget who suggested it, but the idea was you would pick a survivor and be able to select them to start with 10 trinkets. That being said, I don't see that happening, and don't mind the curse being locked behind doing stuff in game.
