I have a good idea about training cattle

Recommended Posts

Recently, it seems that cattle training is being adjusted. I have a good idea: cattle training takes 20 days, and the actual time is 160 minutes, which can be said to be a long time. However, after cattle training, there will be a danger prompt only when 200 blood is not added, and there will be no indication of the remaining time of riding, which makes cattle particularly easy to die in accidental situations, suffocating and painful. I suggest: add a setting of ghost cattle. If the trained cattle die, I will continue to follow Niuling for 3 days. I can use the regeneration talisman to revive it within 3 days. I think this is a very good idea. No one likes to train cattle hard, but they die again. It's too sad

Why do fully domesticated beefalo even buck the riders off? Just to troll gamers?

I also think a well beefalo bull should be able to ride all the time, and will not defecate everywhere or follow people all the time, because in the later stage of the game, i have to pick up **** behind the cow. If you don't pick up ****, the sound of flies in **** is annoying

If I was riding you for 13 minutes strait (more than 1.5 days in constant time) you'd be inclined to throw me off too even if we were best friends.

Klaus uses Life Giving Amulets so why can't we use those on our Beefalos? Huh, Klei?!?!?!?

Could be nice if we could give our beefalos Amulets for them to wear for about a day with;

-Life giving amu increasing healing and causing revival if beefalo dies while active.

-Chilled amu providing temperature lowering to the rider and freezing the attackers.

-Nightmare Amu locking riders on insanity.

-Magiluminescence providing light and adding a small speedboost to the beefalo

-Lazy Forager picking up everything on the ground instantly for the rider.

-Construction amu provising faster and cheaper crafting.

I like the idea of giving amulets to beefalos but I think the life amulet should not be consumed on usage, meaning you can leave it on your beefalo indefinitely for no temporary benefit, and if it happens to die, it will revive automatically.

Although, even with this mechanic implemented, whatever killed your beefalo may just kill it again instantly.

The main issue with beefalos it’s that it’s very hard to get them to de-aggro something that attacked them, I think allowing to ride a fully domesticated beefalo that is actively angry at something would be a must change too.

Or OP’s suggestion to let it follow you as a ghost for a few days (I particularly like the idea that it’s limited to a few days only, otherwise it would be easy to exploit letting your beefalo die on purpose when you won’t be using it for a while, and carry it as a ghost until the next time you need it)

Pan Flute is probably the only way to stop the fight.

But even so it will not work against some foes immune to sleep like tentacles or CC.

Amulets are too small to fit on a beefalo. And why would they affect you when the beef wears them, sometimes to a greater effect than when you wear them? They don't affect the beef when you wear them.

i just thinks that the character should have another quote to tell you when the beefalo is at 1/3 or 1/2 hp (if they dont add wounds to their sprite to tell us) instead of just when is a couple of hits away of diying

and is curious how healing foods affect them x4 but you dont have any ingame way to know this...

yet the person being ridden would be be content if the rider jumped off for about 5 seconds before immediately climbing back on only to ride around for another full day and a half

sleep like tentacles

oh my god, you remind of my 6 well trained beefalos killing by the tentacles in one single world. it hurts when the beefalo that spend me 20-30 days for training to die.

and the tentacles is the most dangerous creature for beefalo, its attack frequency is very fast. And the beefalo once in the state of combat with tentacles, they refuse to be ride. So terrible:wilson_horror:

Yes. The answer is yes. The buck timer is so long for a domesticated beefalo that anyone who doesn’t read the wiki/watch YouTube about this kind of content is going to be convinced that there is no buck timer for a fully domesticated beefalo. The reason for that is that most beefalo rides will be a lot shorter than the buck timer since you are just getting from point A to point B or fighting a lesser boss. And then they are going to be fighting Celestial Champion or something and they are going to be bucked off at at the worst time. Thus they get to “learn a lesson” (i.e. always check the wiki or something similar just to be sure).

I feel that pain. Beefalo in swamp isn't a good idea, at all.
