Terra B Welch Posted August 23, 2021 Share Posted August 23, 2021 So ever since the Waterlogged update, sometimes when I make new worlds I just get "Dedicated Server Failed to Start" randomly, repeat attempts eventually result in a successful load, and it's only when making new worlds, it happens regardless of mods are enabled or not and has no obvious logs. Is this occuring to anyone else or is it just me? When making new worlds I'd have to retry an arbitrary number of times (getting that Dedicated Failed to Start error) before successfully creating and opening the world. I have no clue why it happens. Now I don't think it's happened to me for quite a while, though. If there's one thing I notice alot, it's the game suddenly freezing up briefly before it happens, but sometimes it rarely doesn't do that. All I know is when it comes to mod work it throws me off sometimes, I expect error logs and get none. I was having a similar problem but I tried switching to the 32 bit version and that seemed to fix it for me. Maybe try getting a server/client log when it fails again and report it?
