Is Woby supposed to duplicate Items such as Ancient Guardian Key and Celestial Orb? Because when I put them inside her and leave the game, I get one insider her inventory and another on the ground near me. Not sure if DST Alone mod is related to this.

I would try it without the mod because it messes with how shards work which is probably the reason if it's still happening that way though then post it in the bug tracker.

Looks like it was the mod, thanks. It's a shame it has these bugs because it is such a performance booster.

Do we know exactly how fast Woby can go now? Say that I have all speed-related perks and am sprinting at full hunger with the lunar affinity. Am I faster than a glossamer saddle rider beefalo?

Yes, the argument was "Wendy needs more ways to contribute to teamplay", we got those as an answer.

Probably the reason her garland has durability, so you can't make one and swap to another character...

allegedly, yeah. lunar woby after sprinting is faster than a gloss saddle rider beefalo, and base woby with the sprint is faster than a nightmare saddle rider beef.

do note that if you're sprinting, you also ignore the hunger speed penalty, meaning she is still at full speed even at 1 hunger

When I asked on the Discord server somebody told me that glossamer rider is 12.4, Woby sprint is 13, and Lunar Woby sprint is 14. Idk if it's accurate or if that long-ass video contradicts it, I don't wanna watch that thing.

 Believe speed is 12 for Woby with Pep Pup and sprint, 12.4 for glossamer saddle rider, and 13 for lunar Woby. Woby's base speed is 10, Pep Pup gives her +1, sprinting apparently gives her another +1, and then the lunar alignment piles on another +1 while she's sprinting.

Is there any way at all that I can request a change to the way we build and place things in DST? I always hear people wanting “Geometric mod” or whatever, and I don’t know what that is or what it does…. But I’ve been playing the heck out of Lego Fortnite and it just feels so so sooooooo convenient to be able to prebuilt something (like you can in DST) and THEN you can easily adjust the movement/placement of said item by pressing Left, Right, Up or Down on the D-pad to carefully, and precisely maneuver it to where you want to place it.

DSTs building mode needs this, especially for Xbox, it is unfun when trying to build large fences trying to line up each fence part one by one by moving the character back and forth to try and place it evenly with other fence parts.

Lego Fortnite has made me realize just how outdated and frustrating DSTs “build mode” actually is.

You can’t just hold in LT to “Snap” fence parts to line themselves up with other fence parts, you can’t gently press Dpad movements to perfectly line up placement. And honestly…. Would it be that hard to implement Lego Fortnite like controls into building & placing for DST???

also, what happens when i buy a bundle and i already have some items inside it? like the magmatic weapon bundle, and i already have the thulecite club skin. do i get a reduction in price or do i get another of that skin? because it looks like i get a reduction in price

oh so according to the transaction history, when i bought a bundle, i didn't get the duplicate of a skin i already got. looks like it gets reduced in the price beforehand?

also now i know i can rollback unraveled skin, really handy

Kinda, it helps your helmet last a little bit longer, but people also never use log suits, so there is that.

You get another copy of the item, I am pretty sure(I have 3 essential Wormwoods).

 

Grass suit only has very niche uses for when you forget to prototype a log suit, and really need some armor in an early game pinch. Otherwise, I think i've been told it's more efficient to burn grass suits instead of their materials on campfires.

Grass suit does not require any science or tools to create and provides +150% to your survivability. In the situations where you would want to make the grass suit (public server, rushing, super emergency, etc) it is unparalleled, clearly the best. However, most situations are not ones where you want to make the grass suit. Overall the grass suit is useful, although niche. Depending on your playstyle it may be extremely very super niche, normal levels of niche, or possibly even a commonly crafted item.

Also, you can burn that thing in a fire and it burns a long time, so it's good for recycling.

it needs no tech and its a placeholder up until you prototype a wood armor. It does the job its designed for perfectly, but no you'll never need it again once you're past the early days.
