chirsg Posted August 12, 2020 Share Posted August 12, 2020 I noticed a forum thread that suggested two things; changing the recipe for both thermal stones and cobblestone. While I disagreed with the thermal stone change, I do agree with the cobble suggestion submission. Unfortunately, because of the division created by the two separate suggestions, on the thread poll I voted no haphazardly. Despite voting no, I reiterate, I do agree that cobblestone's craft should be changed in a way that there isn't a hard cap on how much you can have in the world. Same can be said about rocky turf. In my ideal vision, I would make rocky turf craftable with 1 rock, 1 flint and 1 nitre and keep cobblestone's recipe as is. However, I'd also be content, albeit a little disappointed if cobbles were changed to cut stone in lieu of rocky turf. Anyway, tell me what you think. Am I a psycho? Should I be imprisoned? Or is this so crazy, it just might work? Comment below. I just don't see what the point of it would be to be honest; with the rocky biomes and the caves combined, what would you really need all that turf for? I'm not much an advocate for "just being there as an option" if you have morr than anyone could reasonably use. Sometimes worlds generate with very little rocky turf on surface, some players can't play with caves and some players wish to leave most of nature untouched but with nice paths everywhere. So I'm up for making rocky turf itself craftable with 1 cut stone, so both rocky turf and cut stones can be used. Just mosaic and a little patch in 3 walrus set piece so all my cobblestone was picked in the cave bridges.
