This is, of course, if said duplicant has an atmo suit with enough oxygen for them to breathe. It was all fine until they tried to leave the telescope. They would get scalded by random hot stuff around. Also the setup was annoying as jet suit dupes were leaving through the telescope airlock. We are talking about dupes that can sleep, eat, and shower with full effectiveness and enjoyability while in said suits, so it doesn't seem to be a problem for them. sheaker Posted March 31, 2020 Share Posted March 31, 2020 My telescope is out of suti dock station and I as I remember I had no troubles with oxygen or overheating. If the telescope is filled with oxygen then duplicants 'breath' bar is just frozen while inside the telescope. Good thing is to put Your telescope in vacuum so no heat transfer occurs and don't let the regholit fall on telescope foundation. Here is an example. Everything was build without suits and telescope was used without suits as well. No troubles. I found solution from internet not totally self sustainable (they produce enough power but from time to time wrong element was sucked into the pump end eventually destroying the system). So re-design it. I do different designs all the time. Some are pretty. Some are more efficient. My current design has failsafes for just about everything. ... Hmm..
