Here are some fixes for experimental. Some of these were already hotfixed into release, so this should put everyone into the same non-crashing state. New content for the next update will start coming soon (It's going to be gross!)

  • Slight buff to baseline damage and defense of Hesh Boss
  • Added prestige scaling to more of the Hesh Boss' attacks
  • Slight behaviour and damage tuning on both Assassins 
  • Added prestige scaling to the Rentorian Boss
  • Hesh Boss' first attack is now correctly marked as a debuff
  • three_fingers_plus no longer adds additional hated people
  • fix save game deletion in the game over screen
  • Never show negative stacks. What even is that?!
  • Kashio's clones now return to their position with slight delays to offset their idle anims
  • New holo fx
  • Limit the number of kashio holograms to the max team size, because having holograms in the reserve queue causes all kinds of problems
  • Fix for crash when holograms try to run away

Urp. This update went out at *precisely* the wrong time, and picked up a bad merge, so it crashes on boot. Working on a fix...

OK. Pushed. This build also allows pets in the Sal finale fights. 

There's a known issue in this one that makes it hard to click on people in locations. We're working on a fix for that.

Game crashes when you break Threekwa's defense when he has 0 power.

 

On a side note, while I havent tested it yet, how will the Pet Shroogs work now that there shouldnt be negative values showing? Dont know if it was even intended originally, but I constantly had Shroogs irrecoverably enter negative power due to rng targeting them more than they can rebuild their power, so Im curious to know how it works now.

Hey all, just pushed a new experimental that incorporates some recent changes that we've been working on. A lot of this stuff is under the hood, and potentially breaky, so please bear with us. The end result in a couple of weeks will be better performance for less-good machines!

Experimental 392162

  • Started a bunch of optimization stuff (be on the lookout for breaking UI stuff!)
  • Add a name for the hesh boss
  • dynamo_round now correctly passes itself as the source when removing Overcharge
  • Added new HATCH card flag
  • Set up a standard way for hatch cards to handle their hatching
  • Fixed crash in rentorian boss relating to new prestige scaling
  • Added Rook's new parasites, and grout bog burrs (just in code - not enabled yet because WIP)
  • Added Hatch cards to events that were previously in the game but not used anywhere
  • Slightly increased the base damage of Oolo and Nadan's attacks

Couldn't finish a run (with Rook) because of a hitbox problem that seems to occur on NPC's that are elevated on top of balconies.
Sent in a few more reports. Also one of the new cards (Twig) doesn't seem to gain XP at all.
