I just got a geode with water in it and a few pacus. They seem to have an abyssalite border occasionally as well.

Indeed, Abyssalite borders are possible however, there are two problems with the content:

a) Water is not a valid choice (though Neutronium is)

b) Fauna and Flora are neither part of geode generation

Well, a) can be explained away by that Ice is simply spawned at the temperate suitable for the biome, resulting in water instantly.

But b) can only be possible if the trait replaces only tiles and not critters/seeds/similar objects. This is actually supported by the fact that one can find easily seeds in boulders.

So what you are saying is that the pacus should have spawned for a part of a slime biome reaching there (there`s one just above so that might have been a part) and the water is molten ice that spawned with the geode (i`m not sure how the fish survived that). Anyway the end effect is pretty cool.

And that's all that matters~

It's just interesting to note and as a little correction: The Pacu should be from the ocean biome, although now that I look at it... the salt looks like pepper, I mean both, the vines and seeds.

Also, considering how the game does not load what you can not see, the Pacu was in double-stasis, time and ice one. The ice also should have melted instantly since it was not heated but set at a temperature (above 0°C)

There's some kind of interaction between the features.  I'm playing with Oassis now, and a subsurface ocean with irregular oil will have a layer of ocean and a few scattered oil biomes, but irregular oil WITHOUT subsurface ocean is making a ring of oil biomes outside the ring of desert biomes.  Nearly the whole map is an angry salmon color.

On the flip side, I don't think geyser generation is affected by map.  World seed 1248473604 has two slush geysers, two water geysers, and two cool steam vents.

I thought I'd share a little tip on geodes.. I found one which had CO2 in it. I didn't check howmuch and just cut it open because it was in my way.. I should have checked.. It had 500kg/tile of CO2 in there. with the edges of the inside being made of diamond surrounded by obsidian as the outer shell. First time I reverted to an old save, as by the time I realised howmuch CO2 was being emitted from there, it had filled half my base and was expanding further.

Well, it was a solid gas after all (that spawned at a temperature where it sublimated on sight) so the mass was automatically set to suit the density of the solid state.

Now I'm really looking forward to finding a hydrogen one.. though it is as rare (1 of 150) as getting the worst result: Neutronium

Haven't seen it mentioned explicitly: Rime's magma biome will likely have many high output (magma) volcanos.

Yeah, my Rime gen had a bunch of them too. Come to the cold, get infinite hot stuff.

@SakuraKoi how do i read your sheets?

Well, I'm currently working on making them readable and I intend to share them fully later but... I might as well already though I intend to make my own thread later (to explain stuff like noises, weight &c):

Bonus: The what is now outdated (as expected) sheet about space travelling (it does not even have artifacts)
