Anyone found a use for Ethanol yet?

I'm at work now, so i cannot test now: If petroleum generator can burn liquid ethanol, can natural gas generator burn gaseous ethanol?

Now the gas generator says combustible gas instead of natural gas, but gas ethanol results in wrong element damage. Maybe that will change.

I presume the byproducts from the petroleum generator are the same whether petroleum or ethanol are burned?  If so, should they be?

Chemically yes. Both petroleum and ethanol are composed out of carbon and hydrogen. Ethanol has just one extra oxygen atom (that doesn`t affect how it burns for the most part) and a shorter chain. So basically they should both burn similarly.

I think it can only be used for the petroleum generator.  The polymer press and petroleum rocket need petroleum specifically.

There is synthetic gas currently coded in the launch beta, and it is accepted as fuel by the NGGs, so it might (or might not) make an apparition later in the month.
