The devs stated that until now the events ran at a breakeven (the revenue from skin sales during the events barely covered the expenses of running the dedicated servers). Hopefully there will be an influx of new players that will buy the game following the coming updates. Captain_Rage Posted June 8, 2019 Share Posted June 8, 2019 Well, they already explained that more stuff is coming. And I don't think we've seen the Gorge and the Forge for the last time. Yeah, it would be awesome if you could activate them in normal the worlds somehow, raid dungeon-style, instead of them getting completely decommissioned, but as mentioned I wouldn't exclude them reappearing as event in the future at this point, so I won't let that worry me now. If there's another team working on it, I'd love to know. Anyway, every event skin has been weavable and purchasable ever since the skin system rework. I think the addition of the Gorge skins was just a quick patch to an oversight on Klei's end.
