There probably is something specifically special about him though, with what looks like a green gem inside his torso. OR Maybe even transported via portal (walls maybe a representation of a portal) - he is probably more like a symbiosis between a living log and a green gem (green gem is his heart) “Looks familiar...” –Wormwood “Friend. Nice friend” –Wormwood - he has a very strong connection with the Mants... He is the only character that knows their name in their own language --- “Chr'ik?” My theories about his origin are more or less like this: he was probably created by a Mant-like civilization in the High Mants ruins before they left Hamlet to travel to the Ruins in the Constant.
