Sure, easy to kill, but they create a fire and you burn to death.   Can't put it out while fighting so I guess a flingo which then makes it impossible to have a fire pit or endo.

And how do you a throw a water balloon in the middle of a fight?    It was all I could do to avoid being stun locked, I died with still 4 hounds left.

Yeah, I hope hounds don't come out in water. Or at least some other danger then hounds in water so you can't exploit it?

I just REALLY struggle with them(Im not good, but still.)

They do, and it's amusing to see them on land jumping into water and then back out again.

I’m not exactly sure what this discussion is about, I’ve survived a full year with a boat base in a group of 2 people, never had any issues with hounds, we always had the time to park the boat and kill the hounds on land. And even if we didn’t - there weren’t enough hounds to overwhelm us as they always come one but one; we killed them faster than they could flood our boat.

I always carry an ice staff after building my first prestihatitator anyway; it's a little faster and easier to direct than a stack of water balloons, but you do use it up faster on a major fire so they seem about equally good.

A flingo isn't a bad idea but it's expensive and takes up a lot of space.
