minespatch
After finding out that Mesh tiles are better at flowing air compared to airflow tiles, why should I use airflow tiles now? ( duh ) I suppose I could replace the mesh tiles with airflow just so polluted water doesn't mesh with regular water? Oozinator
Mhh i see no difference between airflow, but when small liquid layer on airflow tiles, then no airflow, through airflow, because blocked airflow. Saturnus
Airflow tiles block liquids. Mesh tiles don't. That's the only difference. So in some circumstances you definitely want to use one or the other. SharraShimada
I love airflow tiles, to cool down steam above steam-turbines. Steam flows through, water stays up. Pumps remove it, repeat. With mesh tiles the turbine would get flooded. lee1026
Steam turbines will never get flooded by water because they are hot enough to boil all water.
