I was watching the stream and the walrus hunters seem way to easy to beat, all you need is 1 pig follower and a panflute and you can get close and kill them both with a spear, I know the update isn't live but i'm kinda disappointed by themEdit: Too* instead of to in the title

They did seem like total pushovers. Same with Deerclops, a bit, as well..Deerclops looks like a pushover one way or another, whether he is or not :3

Just watched that. Was anticlimactic. From watching earlier hadn't expected them to be very hard once the hounds when down, & people have been killing hounds for ages. The Deerclops fight was interesting, but he seems quite a bit dumber than even a Treeguard, just really high hp. Maybe it will put to rest the "Deerclops unfairly OP" threads. Pan flute, master of all monsters.

Deerclops might be a bit of a pushover but he did destroy half his base before being killed. So good luck killing him with out your base being destroyed

AND if you have a pan flute....now that you need a mandrake to make the pan flute, it's going to be pretty valuable to use...

Exactly, Pan Flute becomes a rather rare item in the winter update since it needs a mandrake.

I don't think you should be able to use the pan flute on them or the deerclops I'd like to see a poison or paralyze dart introduced so it's not so easy.

Weird place to ask it but what the hell. Does anyone have an idea of the update schedule for Don't Starve? Like is this game going to perpetually update or is it going to kind of just release and that's that? I really want unlimited updates or some new content from the mod community. =3

The Devs have decided to keep doing updates for six months after release. No one knows if it will still be an update every two weeks then.
