using the teleporto resets your world for new materials and resources or if you want better world gen its serves a completely different purpose making the sky/seaworthy a teleporto just to make it "fair" is stupid. Making the game slower and removing options just makes the game worse.

its not removing "options" its what I personally would call a proper survival experience.

just say its difficult for you to survive each time you go to a new world and lose the last one.

it is removing options you can't mega base in multiple worlds you can't play in your shipwrecked base getting stuff done there then go to your rog world to clear the ruins it removes options also what do you mean by a "proper survival experience" what is a proper survival experience oh wait its your opinion heres another fact you don't define what a survival experience is.

Could we settle this discussion with "Everybody the fudge just play whichever way they want!" and go back to waking up the pig king?

I personally would like to poke him with something.

with what exactly...

coffee makes sense.. what do you suggest?

I used it about a year ago, its still rotting in a 400 day old save.

Coffee is not meat, so this food is fit for a king.

u did use the Chester like creatures glitch.. so I don't think that's entirely true.. after all, u were the person who corrected me on this

again.. you do you.. but I think exploring other worlds is way more interesting that doing the same thing with the same creatures in the same world... btw do you have fire farms in your world? cuz that's an exploit too

I like the variety of exploring new worlds.. and as I said before... staying cozy at base is way more comfortable than exploring new worlds where u don't have the luxury of a base already... that's my way of seeing it I guess...  you could also start from scratch after the first season cycle is over and then merge if you feel you don't wanna start with certain items or structures

The implication of "cheating" is very misleading... cuz it is not.. even if you say "it feels like" ... anyways...

Yes, I did use the glitch once, which is exactly why I said that I do not often use such things. And no, I do not have a fire farm in any of my saves and have never actually used a fire farm before.

I completely understand why some people enjoy world-merging; you can bring items and creatures into a world where they are not typically present, and exploit other world for lots of resources for megabasing. The aspects of it have just never appealed to me, is all.

I didn't exactly think about an item, I just wanted to poke him. A stick sounds neat. Or a spear. Or a specifically crafted pig-king-poker which requires a rare/late-game item, in case the other options seem too easy.

Other than that, we could try to wake him up with a beefalo horn. Or add some thulecite or gold and craft a trumpet.

Coffee would be neat too, but this would be inaccessible for anybody who hasn't bought SW. I forgot about the coffee beans in the spa. Sorry. (For some reason, I immediately imagined the player giving the pig king a coffee, and the pig king jumps up in surprise, and wipes some brownish liquid off his face. :wilson_laugh:)

maybe the Old Bell can help.

or the one man band

Everyone talks about waking up Pig King... What about Yaarctopus? He falls asleep even during day! It's actually better to farm dubloons using booty bag + pirate parrots stalking than feeding squid guy fish. That's silly! The only thing he's good for is getting boat cannons.
