SpoonyBardIV
So I've just finished mapping out the third set of ruins (the one with the Mant on it) and I have to say I am really enjoying the new dungeon-like system. But the ruins in Hamlet just feel so small! The ruins in RoG were the same size as the above-ground world, so it could take days just to explore one set. But in hamlet, they are so small that I can map out an entire set of ruins in less than 20 minutes. The ruins could really benefit from having (way) more rooms to explore. mr.Hazard
the problem is that there's no loading involved. It's not a separate world like the caves.
SpoonyBardIV
Yeah, I know. I'm just saying that there could be more rooms to explore. Whenever I go into the ruins, there always seems to be ~10 rooms. Maybe that number could be increased to ~30 or 40? Just saying.
orian34
Make multi leveled dungeons
GuacBoy
There would need to be far more rooms (or more unique random room generation) before that, to be honest. With ~10 rooms per dungeon it's already a bit repetitive.
Ellilea
With how many items, objects, and creatures are in DS, I think they'd have little issue arranging more rooms without having to create new assets. Something like set pieces, some of them worthwhile, some of them deadly, some of them filler rooms to make the juicy ones feel juicy.
Pagox
Actually all this sounds geat, but in the end the game would become something like Isaac. Hmm.. ^^
Sasuga
I've noticed the no loading involved. I'd be fine with it loading if it meant more to explore. Isaac or Legend of Zelda. And I love the idea.
