How to get meat for Hambat?

I was pretty sure that Pogs dropped Meat (not the small one). Is the only way now to kill pigs?

You can kill Hippopotamoose for 4(?) meat.

Here's a trick: Grab a spear, kill a shopkeep you want to loot, loot the body, and get out quickly. The guards that spawn when you attack a shopkeep are entirely new guards and NOT pre-existing ones (as mobs can't enter houses) so you just return whenever you can either take them on or you have 20 oincs to bribe them. Don't worry bout the shopkeep, they'll respawn.

I just keep on killing the guards. Hit, dodge, hit, dodge, hit dodge, etc. They take some hits, but you always get a torch, their weapon which also works as an axe and either meat or a pig skin which can be made into a football helmet. Works best with a guards which are guarding farms more remote from the city. Then you can also loot the farms afterwards.

Buy some with oincs. You can buy 8 with just one gardening shear if you're lucky enough.

But meat rare to buy, not always in stock, never enough for anything to craft :/

Hippos. But I think you have to leave one of each pair alive or they respawn.

Oh, they respawn like herd? I got thinking most nothing respawn because that's how most content works sadly

I don’t know, just guessing here, based on what I observed playing the beta

Closed, and yeah it could but mine did respawn in beta if I left one alive, I’m pretty sure.
