I think how the vote kick should work is 1.) after certain period of afk ( not picking a character or pressing “yes” to start the game when everyone else already want to start the game) Then a vote bottom will appear if needed to take action against the person. EDIT: this should also apply if the person is being generally toxic and don’t want to start the game. Personally I’m an adovocate for the strategy de jour of last season where you host a password protected game and then put the password in the discription. It’s not perfect but I’ve found better teams using this method. I mean they cannot kick but they wait untill lvl one goes away. Kicking players would make life so much easier. If 5 players voting to kick, that person must be kicked. They can play together and learn what to do or not to do. Like i did. Why do i have to lose time? And honestly its not even fun to play like that. Sometimes it takes 10-20 mins to get players together so you can play. Only time I did this was due to outside forces taking me off the laptop. MY father uses the laptop, so I can't pause the game and I don't want to not lose the chests I earned. Getting kicked from a lobby isn't a huge deal, and is a standard for online coop game such as L4D/L4D2. The lobby creator should have the control to turn a password on and off to facilitate friends joining first before allowing randoms to fill out the leftover slots, and a LOBBY vote kick system to weed out non-cooperatives and afk griefers. Please Klei, this is a really important quality of life feature for your community to have at their disposal, and imo, an industry standard.
