ChickenMadness
There is also a cool steam right next to it. What can I do with this? My main base is inside a cold biome. Fischer_L
It's like 10g/s... It' useless. The only idea i have - build couple coal generators near it... GemeinerJack
enclose it with tiles and a gas pump and pump it to your slicksters for some little bit of extra crude oil Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97635-uses-for-co2-geyser/#findComment-1105081 Share on other sites
SakuraKoi
Primarily it can serve as little bit of extra cooling and otherwise, well, feed it to the slicksters indeed Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97635-uses-for-co2-geyser/#findComment-1105082 Share on other sites
Fischer_L
Well 10g/s it's not even enough to feed 1 tamed slickser. And it needed to be heat up to gas form first, and cooling it's provides... like 1/20 of wheezwort at hydrogen on 75 degree interval. Coolthulhu
It's useless except in very early slickster farms. Prevent it from flooding your main colony then treat it like it doesn't exist. You will have plenty of CO2 later on (petrol rockets and comets produce tons of this stuff), few tiny drops of CO2 won't make any noticeable difference. Gas geysers other than steam and natgas (and maybe chlorine much later on) are stupidly underpowered. A waste of geyser slot, slot that could instead spawn something useful, like a gold volcano. 10 minutes ago, Fischer_L said: And it needed to be heat up to gas form first It doesn't - it will evaporate so fast you'll have problems pausing to see the liquid form. tzionut
I have a better idea. build there a co2 scrubber and make some polluted water for your pincha pepper plants, or a close loop whit a sleeve and a compost and you will have dirt constantly, or feed that co2 to slickster for little oil. thejams
@ChickenMadness Ignore it, the amount is so low it's completely useless. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97635-uses-for-co2-geyser/#findComment-1105613 Share on other sites

This is probably the best use. Making more polluted water can be a bottleneck later on, as you can use a sieve to filter it and get polluted dirt, turned into dirt, which is a limited resource. You won't get much from that geyser, but it's something. Oil, petroleum, or water+dirt, have your pick. But yeah tbh I normally just avoid digging them out, it's a lot of work for hardly anything. Neotuck
Here's a pic of what I did with mine, I just turned it into a CO2 dump from my base and generators. The liquid CO2 from the geyser just keeps the skimmer from overheating Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97635-uses-for-co2-geyser/#findComment-1105955 Share on other sites
Sundance
The highest possible output is about 100 something g/s for those and i never bothered myself to use those.... @devs, why?, you may wanna increase the max output wayyyyyyyy more.
