Good bathroom designs?

From an efficiency standpoint, I tend to agree with you. But the second variant is fail proof so I use it instead. 

This my temporary setup atm. The idea was to have separate toilet and shower rooms, but then I realized that the later doesn't count as moral boosting room.. and eventually ended up with with this hack with ladders combining my 3 rooms into two.

That is an interesting idea, you can do habitat -> toilets <-> working area.

Plan was to Increase slicksters to 75, cancelled due to RU sourgas.

10th cycle of famine so far, solutions:

Increase farmers/fertsynths, mushroom fertiliser Buff to 100%. Implemented.

Increase slickster/Hatch count to 30 -> 20 kcal/cycle. Implemented.

Hunt/wrangle wild dreckos.

Add 4th cooking station, 5th may Be necessary.

Cook wild sleet wheat to bread (finite reserve, low throughput).

Increase shrooms to 90, wip.

Setup puft to slime/meat ranch. Wip.

Setup dense puft ranch. Wip.

Feeding 71dups + new every 3 cycle is not easy.
