Hydrofan needs some love

As if the duplicant labor and water costs weren't enough, the heat removed is just pathetic.  Please give the hydrofan some love so it is actually useful!

There are several things that need love.  Top of mind, steam turbines and steel (actually, lime, which even with fossils is still screwed up)

Someone had the idea that Hydrofans use Ice instead, but instead of just making it turn into thin air, it leaves a bottle on the ground with the melted ice depending on all the absorbed heat.

EDIT: Perhaps so could the Tinkering stat govern how fast you move the heat from the ice to the environments? The tinkering stat doesnt have too many uses other than Engie-tune ups.

I remember posting that a few updates back. as result, it now much further in research tree and does the same thing, nothing.

Then good sir, I will advice you: Pacu, these things are they go-to to rack up tons of Steel.

But yes, they should tune down Pacu and buff other eggshell making methods.

I see the fish thing as an exploit.  Exploiting the tame and wild mechanics.  If you needed to feed those fish, it would not work and I hate to think klei designed steel to require exploiting the wild lay eggs things.  So, broke is what lime is

I think using up water is fine; it's just that the cooling they provide is virtually nothing.  In my last world I had some hot water from a steam vent spill into the middle of my base and heat it up.  I had 3 hydrofans going for ages, used up all of that water, and the temperature hadn't moved!
