All helpful exploit

Recommended Posts

Thanks to this forum and helpful guy here I was able to find out different exploits that help me in the game. There are two exploits that I know of that I am currently using

  • Borg Cube Drip Cooling bug
  • Max Gas pressure gas exploit.

The question now is .. Do you know other exploits that I could is easy to implement in survival and super helpful.

airflow tile tank

Wow unlimited liquid how can I implement this?

Not an exploit - a clever mechanic.

Everything about this thread is just bad and wrong :p

I really almost quit after ranching upgrade because of the way they change they geyser. Honestly before Ranching Upgrade I always depend on limitless geysers but the unlimited gas storage help me and gave the game one more time...

Ok, so your solution to the game currently being too difficult for you is to use exploits that at any time could be removed from the game?

Doesn't seem like a smart plan to me.

If the games too difficult for you - keep trying, don't just cheapen yourself by resorting to a base full of exploits if you havn't got the base gameplay down yet.

@lifegrow i have question. Does building the clever mechanic too compact have flaws? I built it right next to the pump and it is failing on me

If you're talking about the gas filter - the only way it'll break is if you allow a non-filtered gas to re-enter the valve through the filtered output pipe. If you look at this image @Saturnus provided in another thread - there's a bridge after the valve output to prevent packets from flowing back into the filter.

I wonder why you consider dripping bug. I actually first time used dripping with idea water will evaporate and cool down itself. It is logical physic.

if you have really really huge tank few drops of cold liquid can cool entire tank. It is just the code. Game checks the first layer temperature and entire column changes to the first layer temperature.

There's a thin line between "clever use of game mechanics" and "exploiting game mechanics" and I can understand that different people have different opinion. Unlimited gas storage over flooded gas vent or unlimited liquid storage over liquid vent in gas bubble is clever use of game mechanics as well and I am pretty sure that mechanical filters aren't  a feature intended by developers, however I like them and use them in all my games.

"Borderline mechanics" include ceiling/floor gas separation we all so love to use with our electrolyzers.

More likely it's an error in calculating resulting temperature when merging two uneven amounts of liquid. When you add small amount to large amount, the resulting temperature should be proportional to the two masses and it looks like the game swaps the role of the two masses. And then there's the "pressure impression" that the deeper the pool is, the more liquid is in the tile. If you add some at the top, it propagates downwards, each tile gives a little bit to the tile below it and with these tiny amounts transferred comes chain reaction of sharing the temperature.
