How to use tail o'three cats?

Recommended Posts

I heard that if you attack a mob with it, there is some chance that it'll lose the aggro on you. The smaller the mob the better the chances. I haven't tried it yet though.

What I know is that it has a longer range than most meele weapons. Earlier I used this to kill eyeplants... :D

It's use is to probably ,,help'' with hounds attacks. 8 hounds incoming and 3 of them lose aggro or something like that.

I've seen a lot of people use the whip against the Bee Queen. It makes sense to me since it lets you run from her long-range stinger while still getting hits in with your long-range melee weapon. That and it might even stun the grumble bees once in a while, so that's nice.

the smallest ones like gekkos , baby beefs and rabbits flee with 100% chance

It seems they are smarter than most other mobs then.

Btw I wonder if it works with frogs too... doesn't sound realistic, but gameplay-wise, why wouldn't?
