This is true and here's why (It's long) Spoiler I play Wes about 88% more than other classes so I technecly main him. I play Wes because he is challenging and his mechanics are nice to play with. Most of me playing him is just staying near base and managing what I need to do to survive, this is what I like to do in DST because hunting giants, resource gathering, and base building are the most peaceful things in DST to me.
