Pugs hate

Recommended Posts

I do hate pugs, I find them disgusting. They make yucky noises when they struggle to breathe, just like all brachycephalic dogs (with punched-like faces). Rarely, they can randomly lose eye.
People made races of dogs that can't breed/give birth without human help and have breathing problems. That's terrifying.

I (as english is not my native) was seriously thinking if that "pug" actually "public" wanted to be or what else, and got even more confused after the first replies...

Whoops. My mistake. I thought you were talking about a game mechanic I wasn't aware of. Forgive me for not understanding.

To be honest, I still would love a pug skin for the Vargling.

Yes, we all would

I'd rather stay away from pugs and DST pets as a whole.

On topic though. Pubs are... Quite an experience, like in many online games. You have to expect various levels of skill, from pretty good players (somewhat less common) to people not aware of life. Pubs can be fun, especially when you join early. As long as other people are wiling to give good orders/listen it's cool. It's a nice way to teach some newbies.
You can also treat pubs as some kind of challenge. Don't stick with other people and try to survive in this harsh enviroment, free from flint and other resources. It's not hard actually, but can be fun neverthless. Maybe you'll find someone in ruins and become DST friends? That's how I met some guy.

I guess you can say... they're an uncompromising experience.

Yes. I used to play on pubs a lot. I used to play DST a lot, I don't really do this now.
It's always nice to play on the same pub and meet the same people. It gives a feeling of community. It's even nicer to meet people you know from forums or reddit. And then you notice them in some Discord server you join. All of this gives cozy, kind vibe.

I personally find pubs fine. It's just most can be a bit overly modded. (I'm also fine with mods but there comes a point where it gets too much for me) I tend to play with my friends more nowadays of course, but before I met them I played on pubs all the time. (in fact 99% of the friends I met and play DST with were from playing those public servers believe it or not) I personally don't think there is as much hate for pubs around here as many think there is.

Now on the real topic as far as pugs go I think they're just adorable. I would probably never own one personally cause they can be tough to manage due to being prone to temperature and breathing problems. But none the less they are a great dog!
