It's a throwback to when everyone pretended they weren't tired of this topic. LMAO! I won't call anyone else out, but a lot of my comments are like this. People 'hate' them and rake me over the coals for them. Then a few weeks later, someone makes a comment similar to mine and gets love or no reaction at all. Maybe I'm ahead of the curve, or maybe y'all hate that the comments are from ME in particular. I wonder... Toroic Posted October 24, 2017 Share Posted October 24, 2017 This is a pretty good version of this kind of thread, and I agreed with OP when they said they enjoyed Wig’s playstyle, pointed out the team utility of her helmets, said they liked the challenge of a restricted diet. Sadly their tldr revealed that it wasn’t just an opinion thread but a persuasive thread arguing that Wolfgang and Wigfrid are equally as good with some personal opinion misdirection. Wolfgang is mechanically stronger/more effective than Wigfrid, and that is as irrefutable as 2>1 and 1.25>1. Wigfrid on the other hand is better designed, has more appealing art (based on the number of players who play her), and better balanced. Wolfgang is OP and always has been both OP and unpopular compared to other characters. He’s awkward to use and the constantly changing stats in mighty form are a pet peeve of mine. Most people aren’t happy when a wolf joins their server, and I feel the same way. I don’t consider him to be the most fun to play despite him being the character I have the most hours playing. I play him because I usually solo bosses even if playing with my fiancee and Wolfgang makes that a lot less tedious.
