Game Update] - 209567

Release Date: 03/09/2017

This is a hotfix release.

Update Information:

  • Bundling Wrap is now learnt from a Blueprint dropped by Bee Queen (or Klaus’s Loot Stash).  Players who have already prototyped Bundling Wrap in existing Worlds do not need to learn it again.

People asking questions because they don't understand what is happening aren't exactly "complaining".

Also, if you missed something, it's hard to know where starting to search sometimes. Especially if you don't know what happened exactly.

They can just do to the wiki and see or look into lua files

Or they can ask politely a question in the forum, have a polite answer, and it's done. I mean, i'm all for people searching before asking, but i don't mind people asking here time to time, especially when a topic about "why i can't do this" could also help others people finding the answer.

Especially for things changed without a big announcement or anything. I mean, the recipe was here for a long time, the change is new, I feel it understandable that someone don't understand why something that was here before is suddently not here anymore. It's not like if we were two days after the bee queen release and if you could expect this kind of change.

So sure, it's better to do some search, but people asking on forum are not doing something wrong as long as they are polite and not spamming and try at least to read the first page topic. And if someone, time to time, miss something that is obvious for you, it happen. When it happen, you have the answer, so it's great.

And even if someone is asking what is happening, even if you think that the answer is easy to find, asking what is happening is still not complaining anyway.

Not everybody's a dataminer.

Some people don't even know how to do that. And others simply don't have the time nor the patience.

You don't need to datamine to read patch notes just to clarify that lol. But it shouldn't be news to anyone either, people update their games and play without reading the patch notes. It happens.

Also to further clarify, Klaus blueprint is RNG(it's drawing from the BQ boss loot table), >>the Bee Queen is a guaranteed drop<<.

By datamine I meant looking through the game's files to see what's different. And more often than not steam auto-updates the games on us whether we want it to or not. So we most likely wouldn't even know if the game updated or not!

But I'm rambling on a topic that most likely has already been answered multiple times over, so I see no point in continuing this discussion any further. Because like I said, I've devolved into a rambling rainbow coloured dinosaur with lasers shooting out of its nipples. (It's late where I am, can ya tell? )

Do you lose the recipes you prototype if you die?

Nope, you lose the blueprints ONLY if you play Wilderness mode instead of Survival. In Wilderness mode when you die, you switch to another character. Also in Wilderness mode you lose the map too.
