Wickerbottom Winter's Feast Tree problem

So there I was,finding out that the winter's tree can be decorated and if you sleep with the right decorations,you get presents every few days.Amazing I said.The preparations were ready ,I crafted my warm bedroll and....I can't sleep.Because I'm wickerbottom. Because the ONLY time that sleeping matters is when wickerbottom has insomnia.It's like trying to eat chocolate but you are not allowed to because you are lacktose intolerant.It's wicked and it's so unchristmas. 

Please fix it somehow so she can get presents somehow.I can't waste mandrakes for presents so it has to be a little easier than that.

This really ruins my christmas spirit.

This is absurdly expensive, but wicker can fall asleep if you eat a mandrake.

Make a lot of Christmas trees, eat a mandrake, get panflutes from the presents, use a deconstruction staff so you can mass produce mandrakes for even more presents, make sure to wait 4 days so you don't get coal and pupu from the presents.

Edit: If you're playing with anyone else just ask them to sleep near the trees, you don't get more presents if more people sleep near the trees.

cook a mandrake will fall asleep too. So 1 mandrake = 2 sleeps for wicker.

Edit: Fully decorated trees will drop present that have much better loots than party decorated tree, assuming last present drop is at least 4 days ago.

It was mentioned in the klei devcast when they announced winter feast. The vod should still be available trough twitch.

I assume this is the video, however they didn't elaborate much on what the mechanic was. They just said that if you sleep near the tree without being able to see it, something special will happen.
