MrFurphie
Quick question @V2C Why is every beta patch not in numerical order? Example: Patch 1 = 194314 Patch 2 = 194420 Where did all the other patches go? Until Public realese. Its in Companys a better way to organize work on the next build to catch up where the current Build is currently or what got worked on etc..~ Or u just could say 194314 got 106 tasks worked on before the Next Public realese was out. Something like that~ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/71153-question-for-our-update-lord/#findComment-829492 Share on other sites
Developer PeterA Posted October 26, 2016 Developer Share Posted October 26, 2016 @MrFurphie, @SenpaiArtorias is correct, they are the version numbers of our version control system. But they are shared among all our projects. If you look at the old single player Don't Starve releases, their update numbers should be much lower than what DST is currently at. You'll also notice that the DST updates and single player DS updates now have overlapping version numebrs. This is pretty common, most game dev studios that I've worked at used a single version control system for all their work and labelled versions of the game based on the last change to go into that build.
