Is it to preserve the rarity of Elegant items or something? I get why you can't trade up from Elegant to Timeless since I'm not sure if Timeless is even officially implemented yet but Distinguished/Elegant really doesn't have that issue. Seeming as it takes 9 of the lower tiered items to get one of a higher tier, it's not very cost-effective for the most part with the Market being there but having it as an option would be neat. It'll take away from the luck factor if you can just trade 9 distinguished (who would do that in the first place?) for an elegant. You won't have that satisfaction of getting lucky through trading lower tiers of clothes/opening gifts. Edit: Also I think a dev was testing out the trade inn with commons and got a elegant drop. Arlesienne Posted June 12, 2016 Share Posted June 12, 2016 Generally (because I want to start using the inn, I believe), what do you consider a better deal: trading commons and classies with people or shoving them into the inn and getting to trade the few better items resulting? Bear in mind, I'm not interested in getting a full collection or (shudders) making profit on the skins, but just collecting the few items I want to use (*cough* white striking gloves/brown waistcoat/cardigans/MAYBE Willow heads *cough*). Or the battered body case, or the green silk loungewear, as there are many more of them being sold at the time for the same price (32 eurocents), implying the interest in them is lower. Similarly, possibly the best way of buying spiffies for the trade in is getting nine blue buckled backpacks for 17 eurocents each.
