BigGames Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 I don't want to sound annoy but do we really have to pay for online mode. I like Don't starve alot but I don't like when I have to pay for to go online. It is annoy me atleast that they sell the same game that have online features. The ranting part is done and I'm gonna good say stuff about it because I'm kinda scared that they banned me from this. Now the good stuff about Don't starve together. The things that I like about don't starve together is they added new features like ghost form, moon rocks, New changes like there are a new way get that permanent health decrease away and new ways to have FUN. The new ways to have is to 1) messing around like getting 5 webbers with 10 spiders each then fighting a gaint or a herd of beffalos or fight pig village 2) making wars against each other like 2 WX fully upgraded vs a maxwell, a wigfrid and a webber with spiders 3) building a city together and making laws for your city filled with pigs or bunnys zoo or spiders 4) playing Don't starve the original way and so many more ways to have fun. this is my opinion. Don't get angry at my opinion please and moderators please Don't banned me. Just remember Don't start fight about this rant. Thank you for reading this and moderators please don't banned me. If anyone start a fight about this I will ignore them. There is a difference between fighting and debating. Rily Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 Thats Why I hope Don't starve together come to ps3 in the future, pay for the online is a bit unfair in ps4, the price is fine, isn't too much expensive, the problem is the service, is the same as in ps3, the same problematic and unstable service without improves. If you can play in a pc or even a laptop is the best option, the console version of any don't starve version is quite inferior to the pc version, I liked how the devs implemented the controller gameplay, maybe play with a joystick is not enough fast and efficient as play with keyboard and mouse but is pretty comfortable and practical (I actually play with controller), but there are some mods that feels like a fix instead a modification. A question for the devs: could you add some mods to the console version that already exist?, I don't mean mods like minimap or backpack and amulet slot, I mean mods like the ice flingomatic range check or the ability to select when the music plays like in the dusk and night music mod, and maybe the gesture wheel to the console version of together. Yeah, way back in June 2015 iirc, everyone who had Dont Starve got DST beta for free. It won't happen again though, that was the only chance. Plus, I don't know what the deal was for console owners, just what happened on Steam. About paying for multiplayer, well, thats how it is. Creating a multiplayer game is pretty hard in itself, and converting an existing singleplayer game to multiplayer is just as hard, if not more so. I understand why it seems like BS that you have to pay essentially just for multiplayer, but trust me when I say that there's no way a game developer can implement multiplayer into their game for free. It's possible that in order to play DST on the consoles (Xbone included) the players must have Playstation Plus or the Xbox equivalent. Both consoles now require it to play online, when before it was only the Xbox. Sony decided they might as well do it since Microsoft already was, I suppose. Most recently, they added the ability to tame and ride beefalo - something you cannot do in the original. Also, Shipwrecked is a DLC for singleplayer only (PC-only for now).
