While he couldn't really swim, pressure didn't have that much of an effect on him, and he didn't need to breathe, either. If the cave really was directly below them, he could possibly tag along with the current group - but he wasn't sure how much use he could provide. Maybe if there were small spaces in the cave?...other than that, not really. He waved to the others, offering his possible assistance. (I can either come or stay behind. Noctimus sniffed it a few times before taking a taste. . . . A big smile grew on his face. Noctimus sped around in circles a few times before rushing over to the railing farthest from Meritursas, sprinting across the boat, and jumping. Will he land on Meritursas? Probably.
