How, why, or when this hole got there she didn't know, but it was certainly convenient. After a bit of looking, she found a somewhat clear spot to sit and cast her line. Also, I assume the ship is landed on a rock far from the mainland, per the picture.) Wiffleball noticed Kate exit the boat through a hole in the bottom, then jumped down after her. He didn't quite land on his feet (and almost fell into the water, really), but he got up quickly enough to avoid slipping off the rock. Once he realized that Kate wasn't going out treasure hunting with the others, though, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Maybe Kade would come with him instead?
