(Let's try this one more time.)

The dragon had fallen into a light sleep (because why not), either from blood loss, exhaustion, or some combination of the two. By the time Mark began wrapping the paper around her injured front leg, the bleeding had slowed, probably due to clotting; a good sign.

Kade stared back at the plush in awkward silence.

(By JoeW it worked! IT WORKED!!!)

As Mark finished bandaging the dragon, he gave her a few pats and sat down on the sand, reviewing the recent events in his head.

So many things happened... he probably felt more things this day and the day before then he felt in all of his monotone city life.

He met so many new people, almost developed a romantic relationship (that he was glad didn't evolve into anything), met a living plushie, plant people, octopus people, shark-like dog people... all kinds of animal people... and even a dragon! A freaking dragon!

And there was that gigantic sea monster helping them travel around with their boat...

He let out a sigh.

But, honestly... he was enjoying this place. If not just a little bit.

(Can I just say, didn't Julia completely render Merit's bulb useless?)

(No, because... You see... Erm, how do I explain this....

In most circumstances, and unless you're the OP/roleplay creator/the one in charge, you can only dictate what damage you do, not the effect. You can claw up Mertursas' bulb, but it's up for him to decide if that's enough to make it stop working. I can tear off Julia's arm, but it's up for you to decide if that's enough damage to kill her. You see what I'm saying? If you feel that someone didn't have their character take the appropriate amount of damage you can protest, and then the OP can overrule their decision if they agree with you, but it's not your call to make.)

I work in meters. I was gonna say that no living organism can survive depths of that deep, before converting it, and realizing that Sperm Whales and Beaked whales can dive to almost triple that depth. I hate your accidental scientific accuracy.

(Well, Dara's here, so we mighteswell get this show on the road.)

After a rather brief nap, Meritursas wakes up and swims back to the surface.  He climbs onto the beach and looks at the group somewhat awkwardly.

...Mark says after watching his girlfriend get her arm get ripped off, get thrown across an island, then be crushed to death, not to mention the brutal demise of a bunch of her clones.  I'd like it too!

(Well, they were never officially officially dating. Plus, she revealed to be Julian way too soon, the "dust" hadn't died down just yet. Mark was quite angry with all that. He felt kinda betrayed.

... Oooooooor maybe he's just an emotionless pile of meat. Could be that.)

(And even if you had been right, I would've just said he's the magical offspring of a god and can do basically whatever he wants.)

You do not understand the rules of out-scienceing. If I out-science you, even if it has no IC application, I still win the sciencyness.

Noctimus was woken up by the noise caused by the coral. When he looked around to see what made the noise, he spotted Wiffleball, who he immediately charged at and began licking over and over, and over, and over while making happy little squeaks. It would take quite a bit of force to push Noctimus away.

Kate flinched at the sudden sound and peeked through the doggie's fur to see what it was. She still appeared to be a bit on edge.

After a moment of pondering Wiffleball's frustration, it seemed like Kade had an idea. "Can you write?" he asked the plush.

(I'm going with the second one. You said that he had feelings for her, and yet you ain't affected by possibly the most brutal death I've known in fiction. That includes most of SAW 1-4.)

You've never read Carnatis Inviktus then.
