The boat's tilt shifted the cargo below, causing Wiffleball to slide off his crate and onto the floor. Unfortunately, he didn't have enough weight to hold his ground against the tilt, so he was unable to follow Kate upstairs and instead slid (along with the rest of the cargo) away from the staircase and to the front of the hold.

Kate, having been barely able to stand when the boat wasn't tilting, almost immediately tumbled over and finally gave in to her exhaustion.

Grab what? Oh, that shiny clear container down there? Yeah, she could get that. The dragon easily swooped down, snatching up the glass object

And immediately sticking it in her own pouch with the other shinys.

"We're going...into...a whirlpool."  Meritursas says nonchalantly.

Up ahead is a slew of black craggy rocks, surrounding an inconceivably massive whirlpool.  It is as wide as a city and deep as the ocean itself, a massive cone of rushing water swirling into a dark chasm at its center.  Meritursas seems to be taking them towards a small island, which looks as thought it was partially sucked up by the whirlpool but got stuck on one of the crags.

(Guys, I know we are having a new rper (hi by the way!) but let's not go too fast till Dara wakes up, ok? ^^)

Jaw opens his eyes only after feeling something bad was going on. After hearing Meritursas' words, he looks at the sea.

"...ah...aH...AH. AH! AH! AH! AHHHHHHH!!!"

He takes a few steps back, as to escape the whirlpool, and falls down on Gilda

Viridis opened her eyes. There wasn't much to see, but after taking a better look, she immediately jumped up in shock. Almost slipping off the black craggy rock she was standing on, she managed to regain her balance. A húge whirpool was all that covered her field of view, but there were more boulders leading to a small island of sorts. Viridis thought for a bit, and felt as if she had found her only option. Carefully hopping from rock to rock, she made her way to the little island.

Julia yawned, displaying impressive teeth for someone who wasn't actually a predator. Opening her eyes, she blinked twice.

"I. Hate. Being! Cat! Lazy!"

She flipped herself on her feet and scrambled towards the crying Noctimus, scooping it up. As she slid down, the bloat lurched, sending her flying off of the edge of the boat.

At the last moment, Julia bounced off of a joker, giving her just enough momentum to hold on to the railing. She was wide eyed, her ears were sticking all the way up, and her 'fur' was standing on end. "Heeelp!"

(Who does Noct consider his/its master? Julia or Kate?)

(Assuming the boat is close enough to the rocks.)

"Hmm?" Viridis turned her head. She saw a great board of wood swimming past her, with a few humans and a couple of other creatures on it. One of them was hanging on its railing, looking very distressed. She thought about her decisions again for a moment. It seemed as if the human-like creature was going to fall off, so she felt the need to give it a hand. She improved her stance, got ready... and she jumped as hard as she could! Barely making it, she used her claws to hang onto the boat. Using a rock-climbing technique on the floating board, she managed to climb under the humanoid who was hanging from the rails, letting it use her claws to stand on.

(Julia doesn't have claws, although she has pretty much everything else)

"AAAAAAAHHHH!"

What the hell? Well, don't look a gift horse in the mouth... She boosted off of the... creature's shoulders, back flipped and landed onto the deck. She offered a hand to the stranger, despite his (her? it's?) appearance, she wasn't going to abandon... it...

(Almost Ninja'd)

(*points at Wiffleball* Ma!)

Mark quickly stood up as he heard the cry for help. Although tired, he wasn't just going to lay around and do nothing all day. And it appeared like Julia was needing help!

"Huh? COMING!" He yelled and ran to where Julia was holding on.

"Oh boy... so much water..." Mark quickly shook those thoughts aside. There were more important things to take care of right now. Like Julia hanging on for dear life, right in front of him. That was pretty important.

"Here, hold on to my hand, eh!" He extended his hand to Julia, waiting for her to grab it.

(Like three people are trying to save Julia. I hid Trevor's attempt)

Meritursas watches the humanoid's humourous antics with amusement.  These creatures really had no idea how to deal with things themselves, did they.  That said, he couldn't just sit around and watch his "helpers" plummet into the abyss.  He adjusts his grip on the boat, bringing it further into his jaws, then tilts his head up so it levels out.
