Mark wasn't going to sleep. Not with all this water around him. And the fact that Julia just... randomly kissed him didn't help to ease his mind at all.

He sat down where he was, laid his umbrella by his side and... just looked at nowhere, really. Thinking and re-thinking about what happened today. All these new people and... creatures he met.

He hoped he'd get some sleep, but deep inside, he knew he wouldn't.

Wiffleball and the hamster were playing a friendly game of tag! Kate smiled, unaware that her friend was actually terrified of the thing.

Now though, her thoughts drifted towards sleep, and how to avoid it. She couldn't fall asleep on the boat or next to anyone because she might accidentally light the boat on fire in the panic of waking up after a nightmare, and nightmares were an almost guaranteed occurrence ever since that night. Staying awake was easier said than done though, especially considering how little sleep she had gotten so many times before. She would have to find ways to keep herself busy all night.

(Am I the only one that thinks Julia is... "monopolizing" Noctimus a little bit?)

Mark tried not to move too much, so as not to wake up the already-asleep Julia.

Wow, she fell asleep really fast... Mark wished he could do just the same, but for some reason his brain thought it was a better idea to collect information about the nothingness he was staring at than to take the needed rest he'd need to operate normally the next day.

If Mark acted completely out of himself the next day, he'd blame it on... well, he'd blame it on himself.

Blaming yourself or your brain doesn't have that much of a difference anyway.

Hey yo... Uhh... so I've been reading this RP from start to current and, well... I'm kinda interested to give it a shot!

Name: Viridis

Race: Flower

History (if you want to keep a secret, that's fine.): This is a little bit shorter than it should be. Around 20 years ago there was a forest, which was very alive and very old. As the trees got older they started to develop the ability to communicate with eachother, and with conciousness comes boredom. Therefore, they picked out the best flower they could find and started putting almost everything they had into it (food, resources, water, etc.) to hopefully reach the same effect that had happened with themselves. Wonderously enough, it worked! A sentient baby flower was growing out of the ground, and the forest found an appropriate name; Viridis!

Personality: Kind, caring and loves a good joke, but is rather agressive at times depending on her mood. Also gets annoyed pretty easily.

Appearance:

Spoiler

Ahhh! Imgur quality drop... Also this is the Guest of Honour version, ignore the flowers around her waist, the long petals and the tights latE7dX.jpg?1

Strengths: Can open up claws to gather sunlight for photosynthesis: however, in the forest she lived there wasn't a lot of it since the leaves covered most of the sunlight, so she forgets to do so alot of the time... which is why she uses them for fighting instead! Also has a great balance since she stands on basicly two twigs, and finally, has a tail with a little hand on it (which also helps with balance).

Weaknesses: Can't swim, ever, since her bones & claws are so heavy. Also doesn't really have legs made for swimming (which doesn't help the situation). Is also very vurnerable to fire. Her normal skin is pretty soft so it's easy to get through.
Etc: -

(If he's active, hes good. Accepted for now.)

Famen woke up to the first beams of sunlight hitting the boat. Everyone was still sleeping as he groggily got up and went to put some coffee on. Oh wait....dammit. The bottle's light dimmed as the sun rose. Famen's stomach growled, he should find a way to get breakfast.

(Note to self, introduce coffee into RP)

Meritursas seems to be having trouble keeping his eyes open; he has spent the entire night swimming, and between the dragon on his head and the ship stuck between his teeth he has been carrying a lot of weight.  All around them is ocean as far as the eye can see; not a single speck of land is visible.

Kate stumbled up on to the deck, barely able to stand or keep her head up and her eyelids constantly flickering. She had resorted to spending most of the night pacing around the cargo hold while Kade tried to convince her to get some rest. She looked like she could collapse at any moment.

The dragon took her time getting up, stretching and yawning. For some reason she found riding on the monster's head more fun that on the wooden floaty thing, but now she wanted to stretch her wings for a bit. She gave the monster a pat before taking off.

[:^)]

Famen looked at Mark for a second before saying "Just a hunch." He walked over to the edge of the boat to see a floating bottle next to the boat. Had Kate dropped hers? He called down to the dragon who'd just woken up. "Hey, can you grab that bottle down there?" Famen said, pointing to the bottle.
