(Why did you KO your own guy?!)

Distracted by the fleeing Wheke, the creature laboriously rotated and galloped after him, getting close enough for a twig to snag on him, scratching him. He reached out a leafy hand... (Dodge! Duck! Do something!!)

(Eh, hound's didn't cut it. Also, gimme a break, my character is concussed and slumped against a tree trunk. Yours is... Running away. FIGHT! ( Or I will do... Something...))

{You're not in charge. You can't DO anything, or at least you can't control the life and death of my characters. If I want to kill my character I will, if Chris wants to kill my character, he will. You shouldn't be driving this Role Play. You are a participant, not the owner. It doesn't need constant action, roleplays fluctuate. Breaks are good. Breaks repair the ship and move the story forward.}

{Tree guards don't run. They lumber and slowly attack. Using coconut bombs and swipes. And he wanted to KO his guy, you did. Its his choice.}

(Dara's right, I'm still the one running this RP. Come to me about plot advances via PM. This treeguard is the last major enemy you summon.)

Famen rushed in with an axe and chopped a deep mark in the tree's leg before it could attack Wheke. Angelle ran behind the treeguard getting ready to bite it.

(Whilst the "conversation" between me and Chris was strained, it was there. I refuse to kill any characters, but knocking them out, tossing them around, and being an abrasive ****** is all within limits. The Treeguard is creative licence, because it would be boring to have him be just lumbering around, throwing bombs. Lastly, I was asking why, as I had implied his character had been tossed towards sand, not a tree. It's his choice, I was curious.)

(Oh and I'm gonna crash)

{Why single out my character? The one running away? There are plenty of targets closer.}

He hasn't encountered any poisonous animals though, has he? Or is it that he's just weak and thats why he got OK'd? X3 }

(That doesn't make sense for a treeguard though, like Dara said, palm treeguards lumber around, swipe and throw coconuts.)

It might be a creative commons but you can't just change how a mob works entirely}

I'm really sorry to be picking on you Danny, but you're making this role play not much fun for me personally. I'm feel like im being dragged along, I'm confused a lot because everything changes so quickly and without reason. I'm really sorry.}

{I understand how you might not have roleplayed for a while. So let me tell you this is not a good way to roleplay. You are making yourself the centre of the roleplay, when only Chris has the right to do so. I like this roleplay and don't want to abandon it, so please change.}

(Buck up, the tree guard is all you've got. Remember a lot of this is backstory based)

(Also, my head just exploded. Dictionary's and me don't go well together ever since late 2002.)

{Backstory has nothing to do with the tree guard. Why do you hate dictionaries?}

(When your friend dares you to see if tennis balls are flammable, and to test them on dictionary's, Don't say you know where the petrol for the lawnmower is. It's a miracle none of us ended up in BCU of the hospital.

(Oh, and we destroyed multiple parts of the encyclopaedia Brittanica, Atlantica, Oxford English Dictionary and Webster's))

(Whoa whoa whoa whoa, back up. Let me try to piece together why everyone is all in a fuss, because I'm confused.

OK, so, Julia used to have friends on the island with her, and now they're all dead. Danny wanted to have us face off against the monster, but he hadn't decided what monster that was yet, so he made everyone start running from the unknown monster and then hoped Chris would decide what monster that was for him.

This did not go over well, as Danny had just tried to start a big boss fightsuddenly for practically no reason, without talking it over with Chris, and not even having the most important part, aka the monster, prepared. Chris told him to message him next time he wanted to have us fight something, decided that it was hounds we were fighting, and we killed them.

Danny, however, was not satisfied with Julia's friends being killed by mere hounds, so he brought out another monster right after we had just finished fighting hounds. I'm unsure of what happened with him messaging Chris, other than he did. My guess is he sent a PM to Chris saying what he was going to do and then didn't wait for a reply or approval before starting.

Chris and Danny worked out that it would be a treeguard that they were facing and that Danny would have control over it. Dara got even more irritated (as she's been irritated at pretty much this whole ordeal) when the treeguard wasn't showing up or attacking like it would in the game. Then we got off on a rabbit trail about dictionaries and flammable tennis balls and crap idk

TL;DR: Danny, don't bring monsters out of nowhere without figuring out what monster that is and talking about it with Chris first. Get Chris' approval before you try to bring it into the rp. Also pay more attention to what people are saying. Were all kind of tired of having to correct you when you misunderstand something, and I imagine you are too. And make the treeguard act like a treeguard.

Dara, Dwer, calm down a little. This may be irritating, but please don't leave the rp over this.

wow even my tldr is too long)

(

*shrugs* I'm not used to things happening so fast in roleplays. I was more confused than angry.

But thinking back on it for a while I've decided that since I'm out of the action ((Jaw's retraining to the camp)) Im not going to comment on the events again. I'll just roll with it I guess.

)

(Thank you Mena, you got it spot on. Except Danny messaged me about the treeguard after introducing it, so I had to conveniently tie it in with Famen collecting wood the night before. So since that's settled.)

Since the treeguard was focused on Gilda, Famen chopped the treeguard's foot enough times without it noticing to dismember the foot, bringing the giant monster down. Angelle started gnawing on the dismembered foot like she did something. "*huff huff* Now Julia, what is this thing? *huff huff* Rather than 'Just a tree'."

"I didn't fight goddamn trees as a huntress! I fought Beowolves! Ursa! Not TREES!"

The Treeguard lashed out at it's gnawing attacker, missing it entirely. "Oh and watch out for the..."

A coconut fell from it's canopy, and fell onto the sand. "coconuts..."

Then it blew up.

"Wait, wha-" Before Famen could react, he was knocked high into the air away from the treeguard before hitting the ground, being knocked unconscious. Angelle ran to his side, lying down on his chest.

Usually Gilda would have other Merms around, they'd take care of them pretty quickly. She'd never seen one like this before. It threw explosive bombs. Not cool. Not cool at all. Gilda kited the tree and swiped it from behind before putting enough distance between them so it couldn't attack her.
