Reign of Giants public test: Help us out!

Recommended Posts

@ToNiO55 @SnowyPanda If you are running through the steam interface, it's the same process, right-click on the dedicated server, enter the password, and switch to the testing branch.

If you're wondering about the command line process, I'll have to get back to you.

To create the command line process you would have to create a shortcut of "dontstarve_dedicated_server_nullrenderer" and then add this to the target line "-beta rog_together_beta" after you've opted to the beta in the Steam interface.

So in the end it looks like.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Don't Starve Together Dedicated Server\bin\dontstarve_dedicated_server_nullrenderer.exe" -console -beta rog_together_beta

@Ipsquiggle

thx you, but unfortunatly my servers dedicated is on linux,

so yes i think we need command line :-) thx again for your help

STEAMCMD command to activate the beta.

app_update <app_id> [-beta <betaname>] [-betapassword <password>] [validate]

EDIT:

@Ipsquiggle, exiting the server (non-dedicated server) and opening it back up will cause you to stop overheating.

@Clwnbaby Thanks, got it

@SuperPsiPower We decided the the better option for multiplayer would be to always leave the flingomatic on; if you don't want it running, you can hammer it or stop fueling it.
