GalloViking Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 I use them with Wickerbottom to get easy feathers and morsels.When your lureplant is up and you have eyeplants around, go in the middle and use the bird book one or two times. Tons of birds will appear and be immediatly eaten by eyeplants. Destroy the lureplant and enjoy your free loot.EDIT: I say free, I'm wrong. Using a book still requires lots of sanity. I think bird book is 30 sanity per use. So be sure to have cooked green caps with you or you gonna have a hard time! Could probably also work for beefalo, but I haven't tried that yet, as if it was a big group of them it's probably only get one down. Works pretty well if you don't need the loot. But you must kill it right after it gets the flower from the statue or the plant will eat the flower and glommer will go away. Really, though, as Webber I'm so overrun with food, Leafy Meat, which can't be dried or used in the crockpot, just ends up adding to my ever-growing pile of rot. When I want to get rid of something that can't be used a fuel, such as a 3% football helmet or one of my 57 stacks of bee stingers, I give it to a lure plant which is going to digest it eventually and help me keep my world clean. I also use them as fuel from times to times, when there are too many of them in the world and I decide to do some cleaning! No, beefalo will run over the eyeplants and then attack the Lureplant. So if you are not planning to kill really small groups of beefalo they are useless. You can however plant them over and over again so that someday a beefalo will die to its injuries.
