They're indie (not to mention Canadian) so they'd allow YouTubers to upload footage. People need to know what we've been awaiting all Summer for. Hehehe. - Seth mentioned that Caves and Adventure Mode WILL be implemented into Don't Starve Together, very good to know this information (not sure if it had been confirmed before, but now we have video/audio evidence). - It looked like a Wickerbottom player had picked up Willow's lighter at one point then dropped it upon death. Whether or not she could actually use the lighter is a different matter, but it seems like you can at least carry (and/or steal) special items from other players. Or maybe this was only because it's a pre-alpha build of DST, so it's subject to change of course. A lot of this information is subject to change really, but I'm just writing down what was mentioned or observed. - Seth was asked about possession of creatures being a potential haunting mechanic, and seemed very skeptical about adding it due to the sheer amount of work it would take, but didn't definitively say one way or another whether they would or would not be trying to implement it at some point. Either way, it probably won't happen for a good long while, if at all, but the idea isn't completely out the window yet. Let's keep our hopes up, even it's limited to a couple mobs, I certainly wouldn't mind walking around as a Pengull and bugging my friends with the beautiful noises they make! The Poe story is the main influence for that item. We have every intention of doing so. It's not something we've looked into yet, so I can't speak to the timeline or what the implementation will look like. For the demo at PAX, we made it so that all characters can use all unique items, lest it be too confusing for new players (imagine finding Willow's lighter on the ground and not knowing why you can't pick it up but being able to pick up literally everything else!). How many beta testers will there be and how long will the beta apply topic be going on for?
