Clockwork King, Queen, and Pawn.

Well, he's called the "King Of Winter" for a reason...

It never says that "King Of Winter" is referring to the Deerclops, or any entity in particular. I always took it to refer to the player, becoming the "King" of winter by beating it in its hardest form.

Even if that's the idea that  Wilson and co are the pawns, Charlie be queen and Maxwell king and so forth, I would still quite like to see the remaining chess pieces to fight against. I'm imagining the king would be slow moving but take large amounts of damage, while the queen would be a complete nightmare to deal with, but the rewards for defeating both of these, who should be large bosses, perhaps being the largest bosses in the game so far, would be truly royal.

What would be cool is a super chess biome like the hound mound or tallbird groupings where it's a fully laid out chessboard and therefore a monumental task to clear out. 4 guardians at the corner sounds like 'stay away' to me. (I know, I know, not as tough as they look)
