Something very odd happened when destroying pig houses.

so i was destroying a pig village i destroyed one of the houses a pig ran over IM HUNGRY! and ate the skin off the floor. very odd indeed.

I saw that too however I had a much scarier incident...

I don't want to say it just in case it ruins the game a little bit for people.

But I will say this, I ran away in the middle of the night.

While Pig eating other pigs' skins is a bit weird (and creepy), this actually serves two purposes:

1) It fits the tone of the game pretty well and

2) it keeps you from wanting the Pig Men to do all your fighting for you all the time, since they'll gobble up anything edible that drops from whatever you made them fight. And even if the Pig Skins aren't edible (by you) they're still one of the most valuable drops in the game, since you can use them to make Football Helmets and Pig Houses, so the Pig Men go after them to keep them out of your hands if you're not quick and/or careful.

Nothing on that island seems too picky about what it eats. Food is food, as far as they're concerned. Who cares if it came from one of their kin?

They are pigs after all, right? They just eat anything they can find... A good way to make a dead body disappear, in real life, is to feed it to pigs... Or hounds... Or spiders? Damn! Don't Starve creeps me out sometimes.

I've noticed that too, though I seem to get a pig that spawns as well when I destroy a house that will eat one of the pigskins before I can target him due to the debris that goes flying around.
