I always thought it was like a really long creature, with the top of it being the snout with whiskers, then the eyes, and then two ears out the side. Kind of like a Chinese dragon.Anyone else see this first?That's exactly how I saw it at first. It wasn't until I started frequenting the wiki that I found out it was supposed to be a humanoid. Every time I saw it I just thought how out of place it was for a Chinese dragon to be among the hallucinations. Lol damn it now any time I see this thing I'm going to think of that. Just some nosy chinese dragon poking it's nose out through the trees for a little sniff and then leaving again. When I saw this thing I thought it was a shadow of a tree that had kinda warped into a humanoid figure due to your character's dwindling grasp on reality. Like the spiky bits around the head are branches. But yeah that other picture of him definitely paints him as less tree and more shadow creature with tendrils coming out of him. I doubt that the Watcher is Charlie. First of all, Charlie has portrayed a complete reluctance to make herself seen, hence her only attacking in the dark. Secondly, the Watcher appears to be a man of some kind - even if Charlie WAS horrible changed and disfigured, it does not look like her. As for him being Maxwell's boss...maybe, but I find it far more likely that his is simply a scout for Them, as he tends to appear at all the 'crime scenes'. They have shown that they like to work behind the scenes, as we have not seen the slightest glimpse of them. I'm sure Charlie(Maxwell's girlfriend) and him are trapped in the "Dark World". Not sure what exactly you mean by "Dark World". Are you talking about the realm in which "Checkmate" takes place? Maybe Abigail(that creepy phantom) is actually Charlie. Absolutely not, good sir! Abagail is Wendy's sister. Even if she was Charlie, why would she help Abagail sometimes and try to kill her at others? and some of the characters are trapped in this world to save Maxwell and Charlie...
