help Posted December 26, 2013 Share Posted December 26, 2013 i'm a very old school player, played since beginning of beta. And im looking to play again. I have a day 700+ world wich i quit about 1 year ago, ofcourse i did not delete it, but when i go on my google chrome and go to the app "don't stave" i can choose to play that world, but when u choose to play my screen goes black and says "cannot use plug-in" or something, is it because its a beta world? As to the world, there have been around 20 updates since then, most of which tampered with the game's core code and world gen. So that Beta world is pretty much a different game. I'm afraid you're probably going to have to start a new world. I don't think there is anyway of retrieving it, especially in the unmoddable Chrome version. Why, just today (the day of your exultant return,) another Chrome user asked what they could do in regards to getting their game to work (in regards to transferring so they were one step ahead of what you must do.) Moderator @Syd made a very useful reply that also will work with your issue. (If it doesn't, that link in the reply also includes the LiveSupport@KleiEntertainment.com email contact, or you could do it instead as a form submission from their support page of course.) So much has changed since then! Long Live the Queen (Dec '12) update I'm guessing from the screenshots. If you do jump back into the game, a LOT has changed since then. Including a new Sanity meter, a new season, Caves, Food spoilage etc. So be prepared for a vastly different experience. If your file cannot be transferred due to age, a lot has changed. If you see a sinkhole, bring the lobsters upstairs, they help with worms.... Wait, don't. That could cause problems.....Meh.Enjoy!
