(That would be alright, I just don't want it to end up where the group can collectively talk to Velage's ghost whenever they please. That leads to wacky hijinks, and before you know it we're all smoking pot with a great dane, riding around in a green and blue van with our terrible ascots and frumpy orange sweaters.)

("so Maxwell really is...

*pulls off mask, spoken in surprised group unison even though they just solved the [censored] mystery*

Mr. Carswell?!"

"Yes, I was Maxwell!

When your 'Scooby-Doo gang' revealed I was the Creeper, i was imprisoned for 34 years.

One day I found in the prison Library a book non Forbidden Lore and THEY brought me over to the Don't Starve World.

Since I was a man with a record, anybody I brought over for my goals of escape might have known me; and by the time I found out I could bring anybody willing (tricked or not)  through time and space here, the 'more dapper' character stuck! I was just about to get one on you on the Nightmare Throne...and would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling...

...what the HELL are you all anyway?!")

(Those guys are never petty thugs either. They're land owners, or people with PhDs, or just generally someone who should be able to make millions in today's world with their skills! That show is a lot scarier than it intends to be.)

(EXACTLY why I thought it deserved a cameo in Don't Starve-land)

(You're forgetting two select members of our group literally eating a metric ton of food each turn and yet somehow looking so thin that it looks unhealthy)

(Coming. Count on me posting at least once a day, 2 days if I'm really unlucky, and 2+ posts if the roleplay starts going fast and I can access the internet during that time.)

Velage opened his eyes, faintly aware of something beside him. He looked over to see his own body, cut in two. Startled, Velage jumped to his feet and checked himself, only to find that he was invisible. He was mortified. Was he a spirit, and completely cut off from the world, or was he simply a ghost, still able to interact with the world? Desperately, he walked over to the birdlike creature and touched it tentatively, hoping to get a response, or some notification of his existence. Suddenly, his mind was filled with the bird's carefree thoughts, or at least, carefree considering the state everyone was in. Hoping this was some sort of psychic power, he concentrated on a single thought:

Hello? Am I still here?

(Uh... Favoritism is bad...? The other ones are more casual, besides the roleplay experiment. Also, are you saying that you're speaking through the bird? Just clarifying.)

(Ouch. That's cold.)

(I think he's just trying to make sure the bird knows he exists without the full moon. Communicating through Celevoir as a ghost would be a headache, especially when you go directly after her. You'd have to post what you want to tell the group, then wait for it to come back around to her while she tries to figure out a way to tell it to the group, and then have another turn where everyone gets it. Plus you'd have to figure out something to do in the moment that she's figuring out a way to tell people stuff.)

(Nope. I'm just a voice in her head. Read Velage's Ghost form application.)

(And Silent, why would West be able to see ghosts? Just wondering.)

(Yeah. Plus, Velage could just show up as a voice in the others's heads. Of course, being kind to their sanity levels, Velage will decide haunting friends to be immoral and not do it as often, keeping to occasions where one of them would die if he didnt do anything.)

(Et bleu, I do nearly all of my posts on my phone. It only makes it hard to do bbcode.)

(Now you see, I love this. I'm all "I think it would be better for the roleplay if your ghost had limited communication with everyone" and instead of trying to find ways to communicate through people you're all like "well how about if I post this AWESOME NEW CHARACTER SHEET?" and then we high five and ride off into the sunset as Queen plays in the background. Jesus Christ, I've been really loopy this last week.)

(It's hard to convey tone over text, especially when I'm being downright ridiculous with what I'm saying. No, I'm not mad. I'm fine with you being able to tell someone something directly by invading their mind, but like you suggested there would definitely be a heavy sanity toll and it would do a lot of harm. I was actually applauding the fact that you gave that possibility a significant drawback to keep it fair!)
