I am playing as WX-78, he can't freeze in this situation.So I spend 20 days, leaving stuff near touchstone's and didn't realize that WX-78 not only gains free speed boost, not only doesn't need a torch, but also System Overload blocks him from freezing... I finally managed to kill the batalisks and the spitters... got some monster meat... was soooo hungry so i ate the monster meat... got ressurrected on the surface by touch stone...it was winter, i had no tools to get wood, no fire nearby and nothing to keep me warm except me beard. Died of frost bite... resurrected at the second touch stone, tried to run to my base which was a little bit away... finally got there low health trying to find anything to throw onto the fire/...found the wood but died before i could light the fire with it. That was almost as bad as me eating spider meat one night forgetting that i had low health. Axiluvia Posted December 27, 2013 Share Posted December 27, 2013 I decided to log about a third of a forest, and come back to get the logs later, mainly to move the forest over a bit (yes, I can be picky) and to give myself a couple days to clear out inventory space. Well, just as I was starting to go around harvesting the logs, the rain started. I didn't think too much of this, until a lightning bolt hit and about 300 logs around me went KER_POOF, and I pretty much died instantly in the inferno. Guess I should clean up after myself more often. There was no type of gatherable food item near me, so I attacked the single Beefalo I could see. I had a spear, I was doing well, and it looked like I was going to get me some of that tasty Beefalo meat and some wool. And then rest of the herd suddenly showed up and promptly destroyed me.
